Today is my and the wife's 15th anniversary.  We got married in Vegas by Elvis, and yes it was planned.

The last few days, my kids have been doing craft stuff, not wanting me to see.  This morning, they got up about half an hour early, and didn't want me to see.  They decorated everything for April Fools' Day.  Doors, ceiling, table, everything in the fridge...  They got a lot of enjoyment from this, so I'm happy for them.

Maybe they didn't get the cancel message.

Married young?  I guess it was a Vegas thing.  He did say 15 years.  Being that Elvis died in 1977 (according to Google), probably not.

Hmmm.  One of my wedding anniversaries is coming up.  15th.  I was older when I got married.  My wife wasn't even alive in 1977.

One of my first memories is watching the Elvis funeral on TV with my mom, I was 5.    I remember there was a parade and I didn't know what was going on and I remember my mom told me "a very famous man died."

I probably didn't hear of Elvis until I was in my 20's.  He was dead, by then.  It is entirely possible I hadn't heard any of his music before then, either.
