I have used castor oil like you have on door seals and weather stripping with good results. I wanted to try something new. I don’t see any difference with silicone lubricant soaked in or the turtle wax product applied. Will use castor oil next.

I have a spare tube and will try Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Tire shine on part of it and silicone spray on part. See what happens.

It seems as if every air intake tube I have ever seen, including mine, appears dry and "sooty" when touched. Is there a good way to restore these and hopefully make them last a little longer?

I’m watching Vegas Rat Rod on the Motor Trend channel right now and they go to a storage yard which I guess is owned by the family of Evel Knievel. His son Kelly is showing the Knievel dragster but the first scene is a quick shot of 3 Fieros.

I know it’s selfish on my part but I would love to go to Pensacola. I have been at the Naval air base and museum and had a good time. Several times a year you can go on base and watch the Blue Angels practice and meet them after. Just have to check online for the dates they practice.

I will be happy to serve if we “need numbers “ and willing to do whatever I can from a distance but since I live 500 miles away, I can only commit to attending 2 meetings a year.

I volunteer as a board member if needed but it must be understood I can only commit to attending 2 meetings a year. My daughter has moved back to New Orleans and I would have to plan any trips back to Atlanta as “Fiero vacations.” Actually that doesn’t sound too bad!
