General Fiero Discussion / my first modifications

  I had some free time so I went though the parts in my storage building. i found a horn from my cavalier. I've always thought the horn(s) on my fiero was whimpy( reminds me of Herbie), so I swapped it out with the 1 horn the worked, on the passenger side. big differance, I know have a horn that sounds.... more manly LOL


I also recently installed amp and a 10" subwoofer

on my way back from the UNEMPLOYMENT office, i spotted a white SE at a little buy here/pay here dealership, and a silver GT with a aftermarket hood at the autozone. this is in gainesville btw

i was just told that in 2 weeks the job I'm working is cutting back to a just a few guys. so yay for me. hopefully they will choose wisely. i've been looking for another job for a while, but now my hand is forced. "its the most wonderful time of the year!"

me and my dad were discussing the engine in his 90 grand prix while our heads were in the engine bay of my car today.  is the there a write up out there on swapping one in a fiero? i'm curious what my wallet would have to produce to actually do it. we have a complete donor car. the tranny wont go in reverse, so i'm wondering if the tranny are compatible.

the car has been running great up until the past day or so. after driving for while(25 - 30mins) it starts sputtering. and when put it in neutral, it dies. when i crank back up it runs fine for a while, then starts up again. any ideas?

General Discussion / sinus problems

so i have had MAJOR sinus problems for a real long time and i've been using nasal spray for way too long. as most of you know, your body can become dependent on nasal spray. having no insurance on myself, so I started researching different home remedies and OTC solutions. surgery is the absolute last thing i want to do and having no health insurance prescriptions are out of reach. so far I've tried zyrtec-D, musinix-D, etc...... OTC doesn't work (other than nasal spray).

I found an all natural product called Sinus Buster that is primarily for headaches, but has been known to help with sinus problems. it's main ingredient is capsaicin. yup, hot pepper extract! i thought i could work considering hot wings does to my sinuses. NOPE, just burns like hell, and it seemed to make it worse.

today, i tried another home remedy. i found 100's of youtube videos on it, and according to some those videos, was featured on OPRAH. which, you know, anything on oprah is golden  :Smiley. anywho, it's a neti pot sinus wash kit. it's a simple process of basically mixing a saline solution and pouring it in your nasal cavities. it's not a pretty or glamorous process by no means, and is uncomfortable. but so far, it's seems to work! i'm curious on how long it will work. we will see.


if you have anything else i should try, I'm all ears! and I'll report back on if the neti pot works out
