Heater core to pipe sizes?

Need sizes for replacement heater hose. Research shows 1/2 and 5/8. Is that right?

I measured a heater core for an AC equipped car and the outside diameters of the pipes were .610 inches for the small one and .750 for the larger one.  I don't know about heater cores for non-AC cars.

Thanks. I was going to pickup some hose on the way home tonight for my non ac to ac conversion I'll attempt this weekend. I've got an ac core at home I'll take to the store to be sure.
Your measurements jive with what I'm seeing in the forums. I'm just wondering which hose to buy?

I'm having difficulty understanding where this hose goes.  Is the same hose used for different pipes?

I think the heater core hoses are shaped differently on the AC and Non-AC cars.  I know the heater cores themselves are different.  Hose sizes are probably the same diameters, though.
