Headlamp replacement

Is there an easy way to change the headlamp? And know my motors are missing knobs.

You mean, the 5x7 sealed-beam headlamp?

You have to remove the metal ring around the headlamp.  The bulb comes forward out of the shell.  Unplug the bulb.

Open your hood. Turn your headlights on, so they pop up. Unplug the motors. Turn the lights off. Close your hood.
Replace your lamps. They're held on by the ring around the bulb. 3 or 4 screws.
Turn the lights back on. Plug your motors back in. (You might not need to turn them back on, but I'd hate for you to get "bit" if the headlights drop as soon as they're plugged back in. I forget if that's "a thing". Been a while.)

Thanks Raydar! That’s exactly what I was looking for. I knew I saw it somewhere but couldn’t recall. I’ve changed many sealed beam headlamps but never on a flip up car.

Just make sure not to mess with the adjustment screws.

Raydar left off removing the plastic shield, which you have to do before you can remove the ring that holds the headlight in place. To lessen the hassle later, get some of these from the Fiero store, and put them in instead of sealed beam headlights. Those housings use H4 bulbs, and they're a snap to change.

Install went great. They were in before the car show and I can see clearly now.... 🎶 but the alignment is grossly off. Yes, I didn’t touch it but someone before me did. I’ve adjusted lights before and I’ll do it again. I eyeballed it and can see well enough.
