The Market / Re: Offers for doner car parts here
« on: May 25, 2014, 10:12:39 am »
Randilio @ Hotmail is an email I check regularly.

4o4  863 21oo is my cel call or text.

I can make time today May 25 too if there is anyone who wants to come over.

I have some vacation and plans to work around in the coming month but my next Friday off is June 20th, and the Saturdays I am free = part of may 31 and June 28th. I have a lot going on in June.

Also any evening after 6pm on the weekdays I can host to pick parts up or take some disassembly.

I will work the parts list and take pictures if needed.

I have the Red Car at my Place with Ron's Cherry Picker. I have yet to pull an engine so I will be learning. My question is when we are done can I still roll the car? - I assume until told otherwise that the Transmission and Cradle are staying with the car.

I am in Acworth; I believe I have enough tools to take the engine out. If there are any special tools let me know.

GT safely placed in Rons Drive way. I kept the Rims for now, 3 rears are on the GT and one front, and 3 front and one rear is with me. I will get them to Rons when I go over to work on it with him.

I left the key in the ignition, and the spares in the ashtray. The paper work is still in the car as well.

I was not able to replace the Automatic cable back in the bracket so that it is properly linked to the Shifter in the cabin. I placed chocks behind the wheels and made sure it was in park.

I work out that way and if you need help with moving the car let me know.  I am about 20 miles north of Ron.

Scott I guess we need to decide if we are traveling this Saturday?

I will need to rent a car carrier and take the wheels off of the Red donor Friday.

Where are the cars going? Both to Charlies?

Scott is Saturday good? Who all wants to ride with Scott or I.?

Seems like a whole day event too right?

The Red Parts car is at my house in Acworth (major cross roads = 92 and i75).

My Cel is (4 o 4 863 21 oo) Text or call. if you would like to coordinate to get parts.

We could not fit the Cherry picker so I am making a second trip to get that from Charlies Friday April 25th most likely.

You are welcome to pull parts off of the car with my tools if it takes more time than a couple hours  I just ask that you give me a little heads up so I can make my plans work around your availability.

In order to take out the engine I will need to buy ramps for the front. If someone has some I can borrow I would appreciate it. if not I may need some someday anyway. Once we get the car tore down and the parts cataloged that are coveted or spare, I will Post a list and take pics for some items as requested. Once I get it to the bare bones I will borrow a plasma cutter and cut it up to fit in my truck for recycling if no one wants the frame.

I will try to store all the good parts I can for future needs.  I wont throw anything away before picturing it here first  and a little concurrence.

I have a F150 That can tow I have a 2 inch ball on it I believe. Do I need to bring it from Acworth? Otherwise I will be in the Focus.

Anything else anyone need? Shade, extra chairs?

I have poly - they are noisy but I like them.

I used a Credit Card and borrowed a Ball joint/bushing kit from advanced Auto that popped all of the old rubber out and pressed the poly in.

used a lot of PB days before I started so the Bolts wouldn't break. That worked well. Getting the last one - its always the last one - in took a lot of patients and patience. I couldn't get it lined up. I hope you have better luck.

I also borrowed a spring depressor from advanced auto at the same time.

Pre- grease all the Poly it helps but doesn't eliminate the noise.
