Jaguar XJ220 prototype (1985 Fiero GT)
« on: October 29, 2009, 08:54:08 am »
Dear Exotic Car/Fiero Enthusiest:

Attached you will find photos of a special project car 10 years in the making. It started off as a 1985 Fiero GT by my father Staten, Sr. (who worked with George Barris and built the original "Batmobile" and "Munsters" cars together). The original Fiero car was wrecked, striped of it's body and now shows off it's beautiful lines identical to the Jaguar XJ220.

This is a one-of-a-kind hand made custom vehicle. There are no kits available at present time, however molds can be taken off of this car and replicated into conversion kits with full copywrite ownership.

I drove this dream car all last summer through the hills and curves of Tennessee and it is so much fun to drove and handles better than a corvette!! You cannot stop at the light or gas station without someone taking your picture or talking to you about the car. This is truely the "number 1" attention getter!! The car does still need some work to complete it fully. There are only 12,000 miles on the original GT engine. However, being a bigger block enthusiast, I recommend a V8 conversion.

This car is currently for sale and open to offers of the highest bid. Original XJ220's are selling for $250K but no one but you will know it's a Fiero.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any further interest in the car or need any other details.

Yours in Health,

Staten, Jr. a.k.a. Rockndoc

I got that email, too.  Was trying to figure out how I could get the pictures on, but couldn't figure it out.  Add the rear view to it, if you can.  He's there pretty close to you.

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers
