General Fiero Discussion / Re: Missing Fiero
« on: February 01, 2014, 10:23:16 am »
I just recently got a Fiero and want to restore/fix/mod..... and I would love to be able to get some of the salvageable parts. I'm new and to the Fiero community so be gentle guys.

I recently acquired an 86' Fiero SE, at least that's what it looks like on the outside.
I ran the VIN decoder on here and is says its a "Fiero", another VIN decoder site said its a "coupe"
On the rear deck lid it has the 2M4 decal.
My question is how can I tell what I really have? What are the differences in the models?
My car has the little side panels that say "SE".
I really want to start "working" on the car and make it a driver but I don't to get the wrong parts. I know its probably just cosmetic but i fell if its a base that's what I want to restore it to, if its an SE then that's the way I would go.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me figure out what I have.
