Temp sensor
« on: September 14, 2020, 04:38:28 pm »
On the V6, are there different lengths of temp sensors?  The one for the gauge?  While looking at this sensor on other Fieros, I saw a temp sensor that was almost 2 inches longer than mine.  The sensor stuck out well past the shield, and had a different look.  It used the same plug and wiring as stock.  The owner of that Fiero insisted that their sensor was stock, and suggested that my sensor was the odd one.  I have never seen another sensor like theirs on a Fiero.

Has anyone else seen such?

I've never really paid attention, but I suppose different manufacturers could have a different length bulb on the bottom.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers
