What's your favorite free email service?
« on: July 02, 2017, 11:01:36 am »
Some of my free email is going to paid service soon. I need to replace them.
So... what do you use, besides G-mail & Yahoo?
Thanks,

I have 4 G-mail accounts.  I set up the one for the club, my personal account, and 2 that are used strictly for storage of other stuff.  Those two are never used to email anyone.  They're just emails that I transfer from the other accounts.

I also have an MSN address that I don't use, and a Windstream account as part of my internet service.  The only thing I get on it is my monthly phone bill.  I never use it.  I like the G-Mail for ease of use, features, capacity, and allowable file sizes you can transmit.  The only thing I don't like about it is that they skim words and I get spam mail and ads related to words I've used in emails or in my Google searches.  Those ads show up on Pennocks pages.  I guess that's just the price I pay for 'free email'.

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Avoid yahoo.  It's constantly hacked.

Yes, gmail sells your info.  Even on Google Business.  Someone had emailed a customer about a bounced check, complete with an image of the check.  Google indexed the check.  The indexing has since been fixed, but as mentioned, they sell your info.

Here's an article listing some good free email services.
