« on: February 19, 2012, 10:30:31 pm »
Ok i will be in the market for a series 2 3800 engine to swap into my 86 GT. Im looking for the engine wire harness and computer all together and need the engine to be in good running order so we can just drop it in soon. Prefer the N/A engine but will look at and consider the SC depending on location and condition of it. If you have one or you know of anyone who has one please let me know the price or contact info! thanks alot guys!

thx for the numbers iv been looking but have no idea where you found those lol. But, the last two numbers were the only ones to pick up. The first was is a 92 engine so its a series 1...and the last one all ready sold the engine. :( ill keep trying the other number in a little bit.

hey Chaz,
Because of recent events (wife lost job a month ago) we are having to move to a small apartment which means that my swap is on a VERY long term hold. that being said, I might have to sell my 3800sc to avoid selling the Fiero.

This is what I have: (from a 98 buick riviera) 3800sc, automatic trans, wiring harness, computer, 2' of the Fiero harness for the swap, and if needed, an extra cradle (from an 87). the set up has less than 100,000 miles and even though I did not hear it run, it has good compression and the pully is very tight.

I bought this from a very honest Fiero guy that I know from these forums. I saw this posting a little bit ago and did not respond because not only was I trying to avoid selling, but I wanted to sell as a package and not just the motor and looks to be a bit more than you wanted to spend...........unless you have any interesing trades ;)

well i really am looking for the engine, wiring, and computer. If im right i dont think i can use an 87 cradle in my 86 :( And recently it looks like im having to move out within the next couple months. How much would you want for it? Then the only couple things that i would be able to trade would be my electric guitar which is only a few months old and never left outside its case. Or my laptop which i paid $1200 for new maby a year ago. I mean i dont have a large some of cash at the moment but i am able to take $200 or $300 out of each of my paychecks to throw into savings for it. Let me know your price and if you would interested in those two things! Or if you have any other ideas lol

Chaz, the 86 and 87 cradles are interchangeable.  The one he has is one he bought from me.  It would have gone into the yellow 86 except the 86 already had poly bushings and a rear sway bar.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers
