You would have to post these pictures just before my bed time.  Now, I won't be able to sleep.  That's absolutely gorgeous.  Think maybe we can get Barry to take a faded out plain Jane no options base 88 coupe, instead?  Brooks and his crew have done a really beautiful job on the car.  I think the color and the wheels are a perfect match.

Ron was wondering if anyone would notice if a silver'85 took its place.

I talked with Barry this afternoon.  He called to say that he saw the pictures and the car looked beautiful and something he would be proud to have.  I guess we're too late to swap it out.

UPDATE:
Pgackerman and I worked on the wp car last night and got a couple items ticked off the list successfully. 
The door hinge pin and bushings are replaced and working. Door alignment is back to normal.
Pgackerman found both wipers and we reconditioned those.
We tested and replaced the iac with a spare. Car holds it's own idle now, but an iac (and ecm) reset need to be performed.

Next is checking plugs and wires.  Checking timing. Rear calipers. 

Drivers report:
Still had power on demand. Some issues with idle, but iac and ecm hasn't been reset, or miles driven to learn new configuration. By the end of a short 2mile jaunt, held its own idle and responded to ac compressor cycles.

Water temp started working after a ground check to block. Maybe the guage was stuck?

Buying new wiper blades was one of the things I had on the list while the car was here.  On the day we replaced the springs, I had it on my list when i went to get  the grease boots for the ball joints, but forgot them. 

When we first worked on the car to get it going, we checked the timing and it was right on the money.  That was before it started idling badly.

That's good to know about the timing. It's got a small intermittent miss, hence the timing, plugs, and wires. I've got a set of plug wires that aren't but a couple months old that I've since replaced with a set of Taylor's.  I'll throw them on there. The existing wires look rough and have a burn spot in one from laying on the exhaust.....couldn't hurt. I've got a set of plugs too, if needed.
This car is really coming together. I wish you all where here to see it be "reborn".  It was cool to see people in Pgackerman's neighborhood turn their heads and look not only at Pgackerman's ride (which is usually the case), but also the wp car. It really looks sharp.

I thought there was a manual in the paperwork I gave you.  Susan or Linda, whichever has the membership decals, be sure your hubbies bring one to the dedication.
