Ingles jumped from $3 something to $4.50 something between 9AM and 4PM today.  QT and Kangaroo were already up there, all around here and into Gwinnett.  The Exxon here in town was still at $3.59 this afternoon at 4PM.  Thing about Kangaroo, is that those stations are supplied by Citgo, and Citgo is owned by Venezuela which is a long way from any of these hurricanes.

Gary Murray says they're rationing at a 10 gallon limit up in Dalton, but I've seen nothing of it down here.  Actually, I think limiting sales is good.  Leaves a little for everyone to get where they NEED to go, rather than having it hogged up in every coke bottle and milk jug anyone can find.  If 10 gallon doesn't get you to where you NEED to go, stop at another station and get another 10 gallons.  Kinda like traveling across the country.  You don't tank up in Georgia with every container you can find and carry it along with you.

My Brother came home just a few minutes ago and he said that QT's and many other stations have already shut down.  Here in town, Ingles is still holding at $4.50+ while Exxon is still under $4.00

ya.. well. People are idiots and cuased the problem the last 24 hours. No different then every customer running to the bank on rumor and collapsing the system.  I left work in alpharetta late last night around 9 and almost every station from alpharetta to dawsonville was out of gas and the one that had gas in dawsonville had cars strung down 400!
I was out this morning and most around here have gas. Higher..sure.
Crude dropped under 100 dollars a barrel for the first time in 5 months this week...
Relax.. it's temporary.  Its not armageddon.... just just yet anyway

Ray and I went to the club meeting, and Ingles was $4.51 when we came back.  I stopped and got gas in the Fiero cause I gotta go to Douglasville tomorrow and there was a guy there with a big Ford truck, and his bed was full of every kind of container you can think of, and he was filling them all up.  I heard him come to the window and complain that the pump shut down.  The attendant told him they automatically shut off at $100 and that he'd have to turn the pump off then put his card in again and start all over.  Hoarding like that is what causes the shortage.  All the QT stations out here are shut down, as well as the Citgo.  Ingles, Shell, Exxon and BP are still in business and pumping.

30 minutes after we got gas at Ingles, Ray called and said they'd already dropped it to $4.41.

I got gas for 4.19 at Kroger today. Maybe Ray should have filled up while he was here.

2.95? that's crazy. It sure would be nice to gas prices drop below that. doubt it tho. But it would be nice.

Saw $2.78 in Douglasville today.
I suspect it'll be below $2.25 by thanksgiving.

Leaving AuburnFest this afternoon, we filled up in downtown Auburn at $2.48 for regular.  It's coming on down.
