If Tomorrow Never Comes
Sometimes late at night
I lie awake and watch her sleeping
She's lost in peaceful dreams
So I turn out the lights and lay there in the dark
And the thought crosses my mind
What if she new I wore hair plugs?
Would she ever change the way she feels
About me in her heart
If tomorrow never comes
Will my hair plugs disgust her
Did I try in every way to hide them every day
Just how my hair's glued on
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face this fact without me
Are the looks I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes
'Cause I've lost hair plugs in my life
That never knew how much I missed them
Now I live with the regret
That with this cheap set, my plugs may be revealed
So I made a promise to myself
To say each day how much she means to me
And avoid that circumstance
Where there's no second chance on how the plugs make her feel
If tomorrow never comes
Will my hair plugs disgust her
Did I try in every way to hide them every day
Just how my hair's glued on
And if my time on earth were through
And she must face this fact without me
Are the looks I gave her in the past
Gonna be enough to last
If tomorrow never comes
So keep the hair plugs that you love
What were you thinking of
If tomorrow never comes
