Seeing the RSVP, were there seating issues, due to club size?

You may want to separate the sight seeing run from the scouting run, since they appear to be different.  They both appear to be under RFTH.  Maybe I'm wrong.  Maybe they are the same thing.

It could be worse.  We were walking up a hill to a lighthouse, and my daughter started screaming.  We couldn't figure out what was wrong.  Turned out, a butterfly flew by.  Fortunately, she has gotten over that.

I think I'll stick to 4 wheeled vehicles, with windshields.

Yep.  I had a goose hit the windshield on a 40's Ford.  No more windshield.  The duck did not survive, either.

I've had beetles get into my helmet, too.  Not pleasant.  I was going consiberably faster than I care to admit.  Even drops of rain hitting you neck at highway speeds hurts.

Not one of those, but I was riding about that speed, and had a bumblebee get down in my shirt.  The dang thing was still alive, and not very happy.  Lots of stings.  I was holding the throttle with my right hand, and trying to get that dang bee out of my shirt, with the other hand.  I finally got the bike off the highway, and ripped my shirt off...literally.  There was no way I was going to wait to get my helmet off.

Not to pry, but is the agreed-upon value per thousand of coverage, or did they give you a pricing schedule?

Well, new, expensive thermal transfer grease installed.  Found a bolt in one tire, so had to fix that.  When the rain stops, I'll take the Fiero for a drive.

My Fiero costs about 1/3 of that to insure, so yes, high.  My 2014 Silverado costs slightly more to insure than your Fiero.  Full coverage.

I'm not sure full coverage would do much on a Fiero.  Just about anything would total the Fiero.  For any vehicle more than 10 years old, full coverage doesn't do much.  Heck, most of the body shops are useless.  The only thing they're good at is making excuses.  A neighbor had their vehicle in to the same place, several times, each time, the vehicle returned with a distinctly different look.  Each time, thr auto body shop had excuses.  It was never right.

A possible item may be a picnic or BBQ.

He also won a complete Camaro lower, middle, and upper intake system with the larger throttle body to complete his 7730 swap.

Were these all won as a package?

The (3.4) Camaro lower intake flows better, fur sure, but requires a lot of work to deal with the idle air tube.  The (3.4) Camaro upper intake points the wrong way, seems like.  I haven't tried, but seem to recall that it couldn't be flipped around, without mods.

The (2.8 ) Camaro intake parts are not better, with the possible exception of the 2.8 HO.  I know of only 2 Camaros that had the HO 2.8, which GM claims was never offered in the Camaro.  I had one.  The other one I saw, the owner claimed his was the only one.  The intake is different, but would likely fit the Fiero.

The larger throttle body does not help, unless the Dawg mod has been made to the upper intake, and the exhaust has been ported.  Even then, the larger throttle body difference is minimal.

He would have been better off with a wiring harness and a set of ported manifolds.

A massive amount of work for sure and it seems like she is still going with thank yous to clubs etc!  Brilliant.

Something many don't realize is the prep work and post work that goes into a successful, annual event.  There is an incredible amount of work that goes into events.  We host an event in October.  Other than last year, we get between 2K and 10K attendees.  Last year, we had about 3,500 participants, but they were all virtual.  Each attendee pays a registration fee of about $2,500.  The event has sponsors, with sponsorships starting at $50K.  We have various vendors present.  Booths are $10K.  We have one staff member who is the event coordinator, and she spends about 90% of her time working on this event.  I'm not saying she is the most efficient person, but this certainly takes months to set up.  Her duties include handling the sponsors, attendees, and vendors; dealing with the city for permits and such; dealing with whatever venue; organizing volunteers and ambassadors; handling the web site and payment processing; doing some of the marketing and promotion of the event.  We have to rent equipment for lighting and such, as well as trucks for moving stuff.  We have to buy food and drinks, there is various swag, awards, and such, lots of apparel, security, signage, and other items.  For the month leading up to the event, most of the staff assembles "goodie bags".  All the attendees must be sorted for various things.  Various activities must be handled.  Then there are all sorts of support services.  Medical staff is on hand.  After the event, there is cleanup, and often things must be mailed out.  There are always challenges that must be dealt with.  One year, the official who signed a permit had been removed from office, and his successor decided to revoke the permit--as the event started.

We lose money on this event, every year, if you add up all the labor costs.

I almost never use the radio, and haven't played a CD in a vehicle for many years.
