My guess would be that the transistor that is controlled by the dimmer control has shorted out.
Replace the transistor with some heat sink grease and you should be good to go.

Glad to hear that both you and Ron are on the mend and doing well.

I heard from LeAnn a couple of days ago and Scott is still out.
He was having a fever in and out and is still on a ventilator.
They are waiting for his bodily functions to get back in rythm.
She is expectably worried. Her 2 daughters are staying with her
and her mom is close by. Keep them all in your prayers.
