Darrel Finley In Hospital
« on: October 03, 2013, 07:57:08 pm »
Darrel Finley, not Robbie Finley.

Darrel is Robbie's Uncle.  You long-timers with the club will know Darrel from Pontiacs At The Forge, Fiero Club cruises and Run For The Hills.

He and Janice had gone to Dallas, Tx., as they do each year for the grandkid's birthday.  While there, he suffered a heart attack.

They got him to Baylor Medical and after several attempts to fix the problem with balloons, and stints, they had to open him up and do 4 bypasses.  One coronary artery was totally blocked, but he had gotten immediate medical attention and suffered no heart damage.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Glad to hear that he got immediate medical attention; that makes all the difference!

I will put the Finleys in my prayers,

Every time my GPS says, "Your ETA is...,"
I hear, "Your Time to Beat is..."

Likewise, and me and Brenda will keep him in our prayers as well.
You can't fix stupid but, you can adjust it with a 2x4.

I didn't hear anything about it. I'll call Janice at home and see what I can find out.

He said it didn't hurt him any pushing on that Fiero at my shop. He wasn't even sore.
