We've lost another Fiero friend

Some of you may remember DRA, aka David Andrews from Martinez/Augusta.
He texted me back in March, prior to some fairly extensive surgery that he was going to have.
I never heard back from him, after that.
Did a little bit of searching. Unfortunately, I didn't have to search very far...

I remember David and Serj used to come up here for the meetings every month.  David had a silver GT.  When his health began getting bad, some of the folks over in SC came down almost every weekend and rebuilt the car for him. I think even some of the PFF people that couldn't come, donated money and parts.  Sorry to hear that he succumbed to his illness.

I found the thread David started when his struggles first began and he was classified as disabled.  Many notable Fiero people stepped in to help him.  Some of them have also passed away.  It's a long read, but it shows what Fiero people are all about.

I had forgotten about that thread, and most of what had transpired (other than David's heart issues.) Thanks for sharing.
