The hardest part's done, and I should be able to finish it tomorrow. A good thing, since I think rain is expected on Tuesday. The instructions say it's a two man job, but it can be done by one man, even a 74-year old one. The hardest part is installing the ribs on the bottom frame. The ends of the ribs fit on little stubs sticking up on the bottom frame. That's the part that's supposed to be done by two people. Doing it by yourself requires a careful and potentially dangerous balancing act while you raise the rib, work your way to one side, make sure it's balanced in the upright position, carefully lift the end, and slip it over the stub. The bottom frame is secured to the concrete with strike anchors, so it isn't going anywhere. The kit comes with ground anchors for those who build it on an unpaved surface, but I won't need those.

The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.
