Repairing detached soft vinyl
« on: August 25, 2021, 12:47:44 pm »
The quote is from an old thread about adhesives, but gives my personal experience with repairing my radio surround.

This video demonstrates the process.  They recommend GOOP Automotive adhesive.  I used Flex-Seal.  Mine was white, but I believe it also comes in either black or gray which would be more suitable for our interiors in the event any squishes out enough to be visible.

There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers
