Is It OK?
« on: January 09, 2009, 08:52:28 am »
Hey guys, I'm planning on making my way over there tomorrow from Birmingham, AL... Neither one of my Fieros are road-ready, so I just wanted to ask before I drive 2.5 hours... Is it ok for an Alabama boy to show up at your meeting with no Fiero? :D
Just don't wanna get there  and people be thinking "He doesn't even have a Fiero, WTF is he doing here?!?"
Thanks!

Paul it doesn't matter what you drive as long as you get there and have a good time. ;D

The only thing you need is an interest in Fieros.  One of our most regular attendees hasn't driven a Fiero in several years, and one of our newer members was attending before he ever bought one.  C'mon over.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Awesome, I've owned 11 of them, currently have 2... Just picked up an '88 Formula, #11. One is in a state of reconstruction for a concept rebody, and the '88 needs to be put back together... I caught it in the middle of a parting-out.
I had three when I was in Seattle, and had to sell them so I could move back home here in B'ham. Anyway, I'll be there, in a white Jeep Cherokee! :D

Hmmm... Let's see if this signature works...

Glad y'all came out!
Nice meeting you.
We do hope that you'll come back.

Anybody know any good twisty roads around Anniston/Oxford area / Cheaha Mtn?

Some of the guys from work (East Alabama) ride scooters out there, but I don't know where they ride.

The roads up around Mentone (where I used to have property & live) are great. It's on top of Lookout Mountain. There's also some nice falls, views, a couple shops & a nice resturant in Mentone. Stay out of Ft. Payne, though. It's one of the places where I've been DENIED DUE PROCESS in a court of law!!!
