« on: April 16, 2014, 08:36:28 am »
Make your offers for parts off the doner car here in this thread. I will review this everyday and respond daily. For those interested in the motor, as more than one wanted/needed it, please PM me and I will let the winner know after bids have been reviewed. Bidding for the motor will be open for 2 weeks starting today. Please keep in mind that all proceeds go to the club. Thank you.

With core charge, or without?
Anyhow, I will offer $175 for the engine.

Calling dibs on the power mirrors, power locks and wiring harnesses. Will look at the pricing guide and make my offer when I get home this evening.

May possibly get the drivers door panel also.

My bids on auxilliary gauge without the surrounding pod.  Lens and bezel.  Left A-pillar trim.  Isolator relay.

An instrument cluster is listed at .  Clock and small gauge is listed at $5.56 each.  I'll pay $12 for the volt/oil combo.
Small bezel is listed at $11.09.  I'll pay $12 for the bezel/lens combination.
A-pillar, best match I could find was Interior Panel-Medium at $9.45.  This is off my list but I will still make a donation in the amount of $9.45.
Isolator relay priced at  $3.00

For anyone who hasn't seen the car, all the aero pieces are good.  The only body pieces that aren't good are the front fascia and the deck lid.

The interior:

Instrument trim pieces are cracked at the screw holes.
The dash is cracked at the left speaker corner.
The steering wheel is shot.
The tilt column is good, but will need the ignition cyhlinder and the hazard warning button replaced.
Radio surround is delaminated
Shift surround (auto) is separated.
Glove box door is warped.
Power window and mirror panel has left window switch missing.
No switches in the instrument panel.
Good sunroof.
Good sunroof support hardware in front compartment.
Headlights raised up for me, but wouldn't go down.
Good radiator and cooling fan.
Tanks in front are good.
B-pillar panels are good and the speaker grills are still attached, so that means that the speakers and their special adapters are still inside.
Seats could be used if re-covered, but the current covers aren't salvageable.
Decent tail lights and front parking lights.
The automatic transmission seemed very solid in it's shifting from Neutral to Drive to Reverse.

Don had also pointed out that the car had the premium sound system.  I checked it out this afternoon and the subwoofer is missing, but the overhead console control is still there.

Shannon, I have the triangular dogbone access cover that you need.  I'll bring that to the next meeting.

If anyone has one from an 88, I'd be willing to buy it.  Apparently the 88 is larger than previous years.  I've already installed one and it's fallen out, and this one that I had to pry out of the 86 is too small, too.

My 88 didn't have one when I got it. Do 88's come with one? Anyhow, I got one of Rodney's, and they fit all years.

The Red Parts car is at my house in Acworth (major cross roads = 92 and i75).

My Cel is (4 o 4 863 21 oo) Text or call. if you would like to coordinate to get parts.

We could not fit the Cherry picker so I am making a second trip to get that from Charlies Friday April 25th most likely.

You are welcome to pull parts off of the car with my tools if it takes more time than a couple hours  I just ask that you give me a little heads up so I can make my plans work around your availability.

In order to take out the engine I will need to buy ramps for the front. If someone has some I can borrow I would appreciate it. if not I may need some someday anyway. Once we get the car tore down and the parts cataloged that are coveted or spare, I will Post a list and take pics for some items as requested. Once I get it to the bare bones I will borrow a plasma cutter and cut it up to fit in my truck for recycling if no one wants the frame.

I will try to store all the good parts I can for future needs.  I wont throw anything away before picturing it here first  and a little concurrence.

Randy ~ of Acworth

I have a pair of ramps you can use.  I don't expect I'll need them.  If you have a good compressor, I also have an air ratchet, chisel and impact wrench.  All 3/8 drive.  I can bring them along on Friday.
