Well, you're up early.  Trying to catch that turkey before it gets off the roost?

Happy Thanksgiving to you and the family, and to all the Georgia Fiero members and casual surfers who visit our website.

It's that time if year, again.  The only thing better than one Thanksgiving, is 2, 3, or 4 Thanksgivings, back to back.

Thanksgiving 1 is tonight, at our house.  This bird is 12 pounds.  Tomorrow's bird is almost 20 pounds.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving food?

I rarely eat gravy.  I like cranberry salad.

How many of you killed and butchered your own turkey?

Happy Thanksgiving!  I'm thankful for each of you.

The daughter bought the turkey and ham.  SHE's baking the turkey this year.  I'm baking the hand-me-down recipe cornbread dressing at the moment and Mel's making the gravy.  I don't know what else is slated to be on the table, but there's just Mel, Melissa, Tegan and me.  Tony had to fly a patient to Puerto Rico and the rest of the family are going to one of my cousin's.

Wishing all of you and your families a safe and bountiful and enjoyable Thanksgiving.

Happy Thanksgiving! I saw my oldest grandson graduate from Navy Basic yesterday. I graduated from the same place (Great Lakes Naval Training Center) in 1968. Where has the time gone?

Good for him. It was 26 years ago earlier this month that I got through boot camp.

I'm back home... had some Thanksgiving leftovers. Yesterday (Thanksgiving day) Nick (grandson and new sailor) wanted Italian food, so we found an Italian restaurant that was open and had a non-standard Thanksgiving meal.

To me, Thanksgiving is about sharing time over food with friends, and appreciating our friends and those who came before us.  Traditional food aside, ff you get together with others for a common appreciation, I guess that makes the day.

I got to play twister and make designs with spirographs.
