Rocket launch
« on: February 23, 2017, 07:54:37 pm »
Have you ever witnessed a rocket/shuttle launch?  I want to.

I tried, years ago, but the launch was delayed.  Then it blew up.  Need Another Seven Astronauts.  The next time, something came up, and I missed the launch.

Of course, those programs are over, now.

Years ago, my Dad was in the hospital, on one of the top floors.  He had a Southern view out of his room.  There was a launch and the night sky was so clear that we could briefly see it from his room, here just outside Atlanta.  I don't remember if it was a shuttle or some other type of rocket.  Melanie and I also planned to go down to see a launch, but health got in the way.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

You saw the Cape Canaveral launch from Atlanta?!

I think I saw a pic of Melanie.  It could've been someone else.  A few years ago, at a picnic.  Blonde hair, kindof short, oxygen tubes.  Sitting in a chair.  Whitish, button-down shirt.

Could have been at Donster's or Redraif's during the club picnic.

That was at Redraif and Tinkerbell's during the picnic.  The guy with the bit handlebar mustache is the one who bought Donster's Fieros.

I thought Donster had 3, and the '88 went to a father and son from TN.  I think that was Shanine's.

Yeah.  Not a good pic of Redraif.

That isn't Redraif.  That's the father that bought Anne's 85 and Shanine's 88.  He and his daughter drove the 85 and the son drove the 88.  Redraif is a woman.

I know.  On the left.  Bad pic.

LOL.  If that guy in the previous pic was Redraif, it would have been a REALLY bad pic.

I thought Donster's third Fiero sold later, separately.

He sold the 85GT he bought from me.  Sold it to WhiteAndNerdy27.
