Rear Chin Spoilers
« on: July 07, 2017, 09:45:39 pm »
I have 2 rear GT fascias that have some damage to the upper portions, but the lower silver ground effects portions are good.  They would be excellent candidates for rear chin spoilers if anyone would want to do that mod on their GT or 86 or 87 SE.  No mods need to be done to your vehicle.  Simply cut off the upper portion of the fascia along the color break line, turn it upside down and the mounting holes match up with the holes in the bottom of your rear fascia.

There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Anyone want them?  They're free.  Else they're going to be cut up and put into my recycle bin.

Might be intrested.  Do you have a picture of the damage to the upper.  Mine has a crack in it.

The gold one has a crack in the upper, also.  The red one has a scrape on the left side, underneath the tail light that's about 12 inches long, terminating with a penny size puncture.  Both these are ribbed moldings.  The red one came from an 85GT and the gold one from an 86SE.  They will fit a fastback, but the molding will be different.  But you're welcome to them if you want them.

If this  rear Chin is a Thing and you are going to cut them up to dispose of them  then why not cut them into Rear chin spoilers and save them awhile?

I cut the good chin spoiler off the one good fascia and saved it.  The rest went to the recycle bin.  Anyone want this rear chin spoiler?
