I talked with phonedawgz a year or so ago and just the harness was about $150 and I think he said he was giving me a break on that.  Then there's the ECM tuning and installation.

I thought f85gtron did the ECM tuning and install for the 7730.

He has done them, but I would expect his prices to be equivalent.

If I was going to do it, I'd borrow the ROM from the ECM of someone who's already done it, get a blank chip, and copy it. I might need a little tweaking after that, but it'd be a good start.

BTW, anyone doing the conversion to DIS, I have an extra oil pump drive given to me by Brian Walsh of Capital City Fiero Club.  It's going at my cost.  Free.

It's just the lower end of the distributor with the cam driven gear.  The top portion of the distributor has been replaced with a similar piece that has the O-ring seal and is plugged.  I'll take a picture and post it in a moment.

I provided the adapter, the digital EGR, the EGR tube, and the gaskets.  The contract for labor, wiring/pigtails, ECU, bracket, coil pack/ICM, programming, and whatever else ran me about 3x what you quoted.

Of course, you get what you pay for.  Time and cost are inversely proportional, right?

I have everything needed for the conversion.  ECM and tray, pigtails, EGR, crankshaft sensor is in the block, oil pump drive.  Only thing I need to purchase is the knock sensor.  I got the ECM and pigtails and EGR at Pull-a-Part.  Probably less than $50 total.  Cowspatoot gave me the ECM tray.  Olejoedad's son, Brian, gave me the oil pump drives.  I have the engine's original crankshaft sensor still in the block.  The coil pack, ICM, and spark plug wires are also from my 3.4.  All I need to purchase is the knock sensor.

It did.  It was a complete engine, but at the time I had no plans to convert.  I tried to sell all the parts from the 3.4, but no one ever bought anything except for the lower intake manifold.  They had stripped out or broken something on their Formula and couldn't locate a Fiero lower intake.  I tossed most of the mounting brackets, exhaust manifolds, all the hardware.  Only kept the lower intake, alternator, and starter.  I eventually sent the aluminum parts out in my recycle bin.  Traded the starter as a core for a new Fiero starter. 

My 3.4 as I started to strip it down.  It was a complete pull out engine.
