Who would be in your group?

You find yourself stranded on a remote island with a minister, a banker, a lawyer, a politician, a psychologist, a meteorologist, a thespian, an artist, a door-to-door salesperson, and a news anchor.  Each person only has the clothes they are wearing, and the contents of their pockets.  The decision is made to split into groups to increase chances of survival.  Who do you want in your group, and why?

If I'm the hunter, the rest will be mooching off me for food. The meteorologist might come in handy. If the artist has design skills beyond his/her art, he/she might come in handy.

Meteorologist to help in being prepared for incoming weather.  Door to door salesman because he most likely hasn't been successful in any one field and may have many skills.  A minister to help me keep my faith when I begin to doubt.

I like TopNotch's reasoning.

Fierofool, you can have the minister and the salesman, for the exact reasons you mention.  The minister wouldn't shut up.  The salesman was likely never successful.  Not much use for either.

I was going to take the artist, the banker, and the lawyer.  I've never known a banker to go hungry, no one would miss a lawyer, and the artist could draw me an exit.
