Hood spring

Did any other vehicles use the same hood spring as the Fiero?  I'm referring to the spring that sits on the cowl, next to the primary latch.

There probably isn't a number in the P22 list since it was a part of the cowl cover.  Check with The Driver.  He should have a few.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Most Ace Hardware stores have a pretty good collection of generic springs. You might find one that would work.

Mine is fine.  I'm looking for a new spring to go with a new project.

Of course, no dealer has these springs, whatever they came in.

The hood spring on my Fiero has been off for over a year.  No issues, thus far.

Yeah, but if you get pulled over by the spring inspector you're screwed.......

So, I'm good for 3 seasons, out of 4.

The spring is not needed, which was a surprise to me.
