Colder Than A Brass Monkey
« on: January 17, 2018, 10:20:40 am »
It's so cold that even a hot car won't melt the snow.

There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I see bigfoot paid you a visit.  Tracks all around the yellow Fiero.

I had to replace the throttle body on my truck.  Cold doesn't begin to describe...

The little tracks was this guy.  He's decided to adopt us.

The other footprint was Tegan.  For the life of me, I can't figure out how she got her steps so far apart.

The pumpkin has "egare" written on it?  What's that round black thing in the top.

For Tegan's footprints, measure her stride, then look for the other foot there.  I'd have to see those tracks better, but I think I see what happened.  If you look how the footsteps are placed, and how her weight came off the toe, you should be able to tell...

That's Tegan on the pumpkin.  The T is out of frame.  A mark on the lumlkin makes the n look like an e.  The purple thing in top is a painted stone Tegan placed there.

Yep, put a painted rock on it, and it becomes a lumpkin.

Just kidding.  I know it was a typo.

That's what a smart phone with spellchecker will do for you.  Gonna have to get out the Webster's and see what a lumlkin is.

I turn off all those "aids".  I sent a VERY CHRISTIAN client an email where I meant to ask "All good?".  My "spelling" was corrected to change the "ll" to "ss".  This entirely changed the meaning of what I sent.  Fortunately, the client and I have a good relationship, and this was easily smoothed over.

When I type text messages, sometimes I have to correct it 3 or 4 times before it stays the way I want it.
