Vendor overload
« on: February 26, 2019, 12:26:16 am »
Recently, I had ordered some things from Rodney.  The things had been accumulating in my cart.  No sooner had I ordered, than I discovered that he had added items.  So, I ordered those, too.  I think poor Rodney had to make 2 separate trips.  The packages arrived in a timely fashion.  He did not complain.

I'm afraid I've ordered from TFS in a similar fashion, including this past week, also.  Same result.

I placed an order with a different Fiero vendor today.  They cancelled my order.  So, I called them.  They said they were really busy, and I should place my order in the slow season.  Interesting.  Did I miss something?

Lolzio......they might find that every season is a "slow" season with that attitude.

None of the vendors on our list.  Maybe Fiero product sales are picking up.

It occurs to me that the tone wasn't what I intended.  Do you wonder if Rodney ever thinks, "That guy just ordered from me yesterday, then placed another order today, after I just made a shipment!  Why can't he just place 1 order?"

With Rodney's products, I expect you weren't the only one he shipped to on either day.  I'd bet he probably makes a shipment every day.  If not for Fieros, for the Mustang and other car parts he sells.  Nothing to fret about.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

That makes me feel better, if not less dumb.
