Fiero at Pull A Part
« on: March 13, 2019, 02:56:06 pm »
An 87 has just been placed on the South Atlanta Henrico Road lot.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

I was down there Sunday to get the ECM tray but some rascal beat me to it. I did get the washer bottle, coolant reservoir, headlight assemblies and the headlamp module. Really nice bottles too, right after I purchased new ones from the Fiero Store. Go Figure

The TFS coolant overflow tank may have a weak spot on it.

I know it was a 4 cylinder, but if it's an Isuzu, I don't think the brackets will work.  We had to change the Aerodonamic brackets when Mike swapped to the Getrag.  Raydar may be able to give a definite answer on that.

The Isuzu brackets are not interchangeable with the Getrag. They *do* look similar, however. They almost look like they'd work, but they don't.

The reason is, had I seen this earlier, I would have asked if anyone is going there and would have asked for a favor, i.e. pull a few parts for me and ship them over here.

All good.

What parts do you need? I'm going through my stash of parts while moving out of my shop.

Hey Mike,

Right now at the top of my list is an 87-88 gas pedal and an automatic break pedal.

I would like to put a break pedal under my desk, so I could operate it at convenient times.  Snack break, beverage break, pizza break, etc.

Pretty sure I have an automatic brake pedal. If I do, it's yours.
Do you need anything else? Bushings, etc?

This is one that came out of my car when I swapped to the manual.

As of right now, I'd be very happy with the pedal, but any TBI 700 parts you may have would be great also.  ;D
As to bushings, etc., I haven't gone through everything yet.
Might be easier if you tell me everything you have that you are willing to part with.

Thnx
