Have the new splash shields installed. A bit disappointed in the quality, not all of the required holes were punched or marked so I had to mark and punch them myself. Otherwise that should help to get rid of the belt squeal when it rains

Hmmm.  Mine came from TFS, also, but are for an '88.  I don't recall installing them being an issue.  My originals were rather hard, torn, and cracked.  The new ones feel sloppy, but should last longer.

The radiator cover and muffler mud flaps are made of the same material, which is different from stock.

Put a pair on my 87.  I did not have to make any holes.  Just had to keep looking around to find where the the connectors were.  Just look for any hole that could be punched out and see if there is a connector hole or connector that was left by the old shield.  If I rememeber right the shield is snug over the axle.

Rodney used to sell very good splash shields. I got some for my yellow car a while back.

I have Rodney's muffler shield.  It is made of the same material as the TFS splash shields.  It seems that TFS buys some things from Rodney, and Rodney buys some things from TFS.

I have radiator shields (upper) from 3 separate vendors.  The pieces are not identical.  They seem to be cut slightly differently, but seem to be made from the same matetial, also.  The texture is different from stock.  The stock matetial is slightly thicker (by feel), but thiis other rubber is soft, flexible, and slick.  Not necessarily greasy, but it should be easier to clean.

I don't think rodney and tfs are on that good standing.  He has complained in the past about tfs buying his parts to have them copied.

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

They aren't.  Look at the comments on his site about the muffler flap.

Still, they have his vacuum lines, although there is a place that will make better lines on the spot.

Do the shields mask the belt squeal, or how to they impact the belts?
