My Fiero is famous!
« on: March 06, 2020, 10:06:53 pm »
Well, USED to be my Fiero, lol!  It’s going to be in a short series. Hopefully it will be a good ambassador to Fieros. Please look and you be the judge. I’m glad to see it live on in good hands.

Well, other than paint, the Fiero looks nice.  You sold your silver one, I see.

His getting and out makes the Fiero look badly.  There is plenty of room.

Not a fan of his colored lighting, or of the back and forth between his stuff and the promercials.  He made a few mistakes, but generally correct.  The smoke from the exhaust preview does not bode well.

I'll have to see the next iteration.

But he loved driving it and kept saying nice things about the ride.

A shame it's gone, though.  I wonder if the new owner will do RFTH?

That guy is too big for that little car, what is he 6'5" 300.  His head is to the roof and his belly is almost touching the steering wheel.  I am not a fan of these types of youtube videos in general but my teen kids love them.  Maybe this is a gateway for the kids to vintage cars?

You haven't met Jeff Jones.  Jeff is shorter, but much heavier.  He fits.  In fact, he had the racing Fiero, with the bars on the sides, and full roll cage.  I saw him drive that.  Completely street legal.

I'm not that big, but there was no way I was getting in there.

Jeff Jones fit into this thing:

That was a 7.4L V8, at the time.  It has more displacement, now, but Jeff sold it after purchasing another vehicle.

I think pgackerman is short, around 6'4", but have never seen his entry/egress on a Fiero.

Good video.  So, Ron, you got rid of the 85GT.  What do you have, now?  Fill us in.

2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Nothing in my stable at the moment. I felt so guilty walking by my Fiero sitting all alone in my garage. I took it out every now and then, but the clubs here aren’t my cup of tea and I had no one to help or get help. This guy seemed eager and interested for sure. I think he’ll carry the torch well. I could sense his genuine enthusiasm when meeting with him for the sale and that was it. It’s in good hands. Not to say I don’t miss it, but being able to see the documented care of it is very satisfying. I get to see the work being done to it and attention being paid to it without actually having to do anything is wonderful. Now I know how corvette owners feel $$$$. Lol!

If the club would like to invite him to RFTH, I’d be happy to push the invitation along!  Might be great PR for the club!

Invite him.  It's open to everyone.  This is the 25th Anniversary Edition.  Throwing in The Dragon a little out of schedule this year.

Long video for an oil change and 6 spark plugs.  But still I will watch the next episode to see where this is going.
