I meant dust everywhere, which is the last thing I want when painting.

Have you never been in a old barn with a dirt floor?

Yep.  But the dirt isn't always dust.  Some water, and things improve greatly.

I've seen Ridler quality paint jobs come out of old chicken houses with a booth made of clear plastic

There is about 5 or 6 old chicken houses between Winder and Bethlehem that have been turned into a place for small business of all sorts.  In the end of one is a paint and body shop.  Just a bunch of rag-tag guys.  I've seen some of the paint jobs come out of there that were really good quality.  It had a broken up concrete floor that couldn't have been more than a few inches deep and wasn't professionally poured.  The put down new plastic on the floor every time they painted.  By the looks of what was draped around the walls, it had never been changed.  Compressor sitting outside with the hose run through the wall.  But 1 paint job that I saw that came out of there bubbled up enough that you could pop a bubble and peel the paint away.

Don't forget next Saturday, 10 AM at Scott's shop, Cumming, Ga.  If you don't know the way, email us at GeorgiaFieroClub@Gmail.Com for directions.  A bunch of projects are just waiting.

Do you think I could send a ball point there in time?

Nevermind.  He posted that he already has the necessary parts.

Don't think I'm going to make this one.
We finally have contractors here, working. I may be needed as it's starting to get busy. But I'll make it if I can.

Had to cancel Road Atlanta this weekend so I'll be attending. Scott, I can pick up the transmission and get it out of your garage.

Also, If anyone needs an alternator, I'm bringing one to the meeting. Free to a good home.

Which alternator?  The '85-'87, or '88?

85-87. Worked fine when I removed it a couple weeks ago. I swapped in a heavy duty one.

Ill be there early to help Scott out and get lots done.  I have the axle seal and nut in hand to replace on mine.  Charlie is bringing an extra axle if mine turns out to be bad which I think it may possibly be.  There is lots of little things to do but that should be enough for one day.

Larry,

I'm pulling my axles this week and replacing my seals so yours will be good practice! I need to stop in at Atlanta Motorsports on the way to the meeting but I should still be there around 10.
