Yes.  Once his hands are on you, it's really too late.  He can prevent you from drawing, or take your gun, or turn it on you.  Even had you had a gun, once you showed it, he would have waited.

Ultumately, distance and a watchful eye are the best deterrent for this.  No opportunity.

Tonight at my Marietta hotel I was staying over to do some early task in the morning. At 2330 someone started doing doughnuts in the parking lot. When I went to ask them to leave while another employee was calling the cops I was attacked. One tooth knocked loose and wrist is either sprained or fractured/broken. I had emergency dental surgery and they think the tooth will make it. Tomorrow or I guess by now later today I will get the arm x-rayed. At this time I don’t need anything. Just know I’ll be slow to respond over the next few days.

Nope. 😂 Tooth will take 6-8 weeks to stabilize and 6-8 months till it’s 100%.

The wrist is mostly better.

Not sure if my pride will ever recover.
