Group buy on Windshield installation up in NC
« on: May 06, 2011, 02:50:18 am »
Don't know if this will help any of you down in GA...but figured I would at least throw out the offer.  We are putting together a group buy on windshields installed up in Aberdeen, NC.  My cousin will be doing the installation (he does this for a living...there is nobody else that I would trust to touch the windshield in my Fiero).  He guestimated a group price for the windshield to be about $50 (it will be a couple more days before we get a set price), and installation would be about $70 (including the sealant, molding, and his labor).  We will be doing installation on May 20th, but he would likely be willing to install on other days as well.

Let me know if you are interested in coming up for installation or if you are interested in getting just a bare windshield at the group price (I could deliver next time I drive my truck down there...but I am not sure when that will be yet...could be a good excuse to come to one of the meetings).

No prices are guaranteed until I hear back from him this weekend.

Well I'm going to need one soon for the T-Top; may be interested in 2 at that price - IF they are not made in china. Check to see who makes them & if they're original thickness please. ;)
Maybe you could bring them down (I'd cover gas) some time when the "kids" were here & play some Rush battle. :D

Sorry, Paul...but we are going to have to cancel this.  The shop that Rob works for won't allow him to buy more than one windshield at cost at a time....so we are going to do Kento's windshield this month, and worry about others later.  Guess I posted too soon.
