I got the alternator off the Honda today, and now their bringing me a new one.

They brought the new alternator yesterday and it's 32 degrees outside now and windy but it's in the car, along with a new belt.

The alternator didn't get finished yesterday, but at least I have the tools and parts now so I'm just waiting on warm weather. It's 10 degrees out there now, but as soon as it warms up today I'll finish it. I finally figured out that the lower bolt goes in from the front left hand side and I've been trying to put t in from the lower right hand side. Once I get that bolt in the right direction then the adjuster bolt should go right in then I can put the belt on and the power steering belt on and connect the wires up and tighten the belts up and boost it off and it should be done.

If you don't get it done today, plan to let it go for a while.  The forecast says a wintery mix coming in tomorrow and lasting for a couple of days with some pretty chilly temperatures.

It won't be today, they are calling for 3 to 6 inches of snow today after 3:00.

All of my cars and van are finished except my Chevy van still needs the fuel pump replaced but I'll do it next week.

My grand daughter has been studying animals in day care.  Yesterday when I picked her up, while riding home, she started to crow like a rooster, and a pretty darned good imitation, complete with the tone.  While looking for Ray Stevens' rendition with of In The Mood with The hen House Five plus Two, I also stumbled across this humorous song.  Judging by some of the titles in the side bar, I think Ray Stevens may not be a big fan of President Obama.  Maybe some will enjoy this while others might be offended that it makes fun of our President.  But that's the Freedom of America.
