Tech Tips, Tech Questions / Re: Oil fill level
« on: October 10, 2020, 06:06:34 pm »
So, people are telling me that the oil should be halfway between the add and full marks.  I've never heard of such a thing.  I want my battery full, my coolant full, and my fuel tank full.  Why would I want to be low on oil?
You're right. Whoever told you that was bonkers. A 3.4 with a new filter should take 5 quarts.

No Fiero ever had a backlit headlight switch.

Tech Tips, Tech Questions / Re: High PSI

Not a problem. ALL motors drop oil pressure after the oil heats up. 60PSI at idle is very good and variations of pressure are normal under varying engine RPM's.

Sad that it's an automatic.

Use this . . .

Well, this site won't allow anything over 128K (lame) but you may be able to get the file from Pennocks.
It's called 'postimage.exe'

No stain(s). I did say almost.
Adjustment has nothing to do with it. The rod clearly snapped.
I will need the one that has a light coat of WHITE paint on the ends. Not red or blue.

Got my blocks of wood, boards and tie-down straps at the ready!

The GT that was at ENCORE Salvage is gone. No hope there.
I'll check with Scottb and carnut122.

Thanks!
