General Fiero Discussion / 3.8 SC swap .

So I really been thinking about doing a 3.8 l supercharged swap. Or the ecotec supercharged swap. Just how much harder is this than the 3.4 l swap I have already done? I want to do the swap to modernize the car. So that I'm able to drive it more. I want to bring  over the 4 speed transmission that comes with those other engines. That way it's more drivable on the highway. but just how much extra work are we talkin compared to the 3.4 swap I have already done. Also what do you think would be the roundabout cost?

Hello everyone. having an issue lately where I have no check engine light. Normally that wouldn't be an issue haha. But I do not believe it's working at all as it doesn't come on with the key in the start position without the engine running either. I have changed the bulb I know it to be good. Any ideas? Car starts right up and runs just fine. I have not found any blown fuses.

General Discussion / Sun roof seal

So we have had a little bit of rain here recently and my sunroof leaks a little bit nothing crazy just a few drips here and there anybody got any ideas to remedy that is an 87 Fiero I was thinking about just running a small thin beat of rtv over top of the seal and letting it cure before closing it and see if that works as I am not able to find a replacement seal online and I've also heard it can be quite horrific to remove and replace any ideas will be greatly appreciated thank you.

General Discussion / Progress update

Hey everyone just wanted to make a post here and show you the progress on the Fiero. Got everything painted except for the trim and the top. Been hard to find time to really get at it lately. Car is running and driving great. Just replace the brake master cylinder , put a radio in it, and got the AC system put back together although I do need to get a compressor which to my surprise were very expensive so I will need to save up for that. Got new wheels and tires well New to me that is. Got some new seats that I still need to throw in and other than that I am still just doing some body work up around the sunroof before I can paint up there.

Car is almost done !  Still working on body work around the sunroof and hood .but I got some original wheels ! And new side covers !

Expert Tech Advice / Body clips

Hello everyone! I'm beginning to start painting on the Fiero and a lot of the body cladding clips are either riveted in and or plastic clips that like to break no matter how gentle you are I have seen some for sale on the Fiero store but it seems a bit pricey. Does anyone know where I can get all the clips and fasteners I will need for reassembly at a more reasonable cost or even better yet maybe an entire kit?

having an issue with the passenger side headlight it will go all the way up if I have the hood open but if I have the hood closed it will not go all the way up any ideas on how to fix this?

hello every one im back at it !! but i have a question .... 3.4 swap what size bolt do i need to attache exhust manifolds to down pipe legnth with thread pitchh all that jazz . and do i need gaskets or springs ? also things do not line up perfectly is this normal ? shpuld i just use a persuader and make it fit off about .25 of an inch
