It needs a fuel pump and some better seats.

I also just bought Gary's son Ross's car, it's an 85 GT parts car. I bought all of his parts and wheels.

Rob, if it's a manual, Old One needs a steering column, and all the locks.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Its an automatic. But I should have a manual column in all my parts. Does it have the lever to lock the switch? I take it that it doesn't have cruise or delayed wipers since it doesn't have anything else.

rob my steering column has the lever to lock the switch and the turn signal has the intermitant wipers- no cruise.  i'm curious is there nothing that can be done with the column thats in there now.  it seems pretty solid, can't i just buy a new ignition and what ever else is missing? i went to junkyard today and took another look at the 85gt, theres not much left thats good(no steering column) but i might get the instrument cluster it looks real good ($50.00),i might get the light switch and plate and the trunk release and plate, theres the covers for the seat mechanisms. i didn't get the trunk open, i don't know what i could use under there. the grills are in good shape($20.00 for both). the sunroof glass is there in the floor it appears to be intact but i don't need it. the hood is in one piece they want $50.00. i want to see if the brackets for the jack is in there. no window crank it has power windows. i still have to check the 84. i know the interior was in pretty good shape the first time i saw it. the headliner was good(tan) and the seats were in good shape no tears. i just want to see if the window crank matchs the 88. the 84 is a complete car is there anything i should take besides a window crank? the gt had 16" wheels chrome but they are missing the center caps about 5 or 6 inchs in diameter, i dont know if they would clean up.     oldone in c'ville

And I just traded an 87 2.5 engine with 146,000 miles on it for an 84 4 cylinder automatic. It needs seats and an engine.

Looks like it has an 85 or later rear deck.

Rear deck is off an 85. I checked the underneath today and it's been wrecked in the front and is rusty underneath, so I guess its a parts car.

Julio just bought a complete 97 Grand Prix with a 3800 Super Charger. We're going to install it in his 88 4 cylinder 5 speed car.

He'll sell you the car for $1100 and you come and get the car. The cars been wrecked but it was hit in the rear, it still runs and is still drivable. It's Julio's car, he buys wrecks and strips them then crushes whats left. He owns a junk yard and gets in on all these auctions on repo's too.

I found an 85 GT last night that's in my price range. They said the engine needed work but I think I can take care of that. Looks like a nice car, I'll post pics if I get it.
