Usa Olympic athlete Michal Smolen is my nephew. He's made the preliminary cuts today in Rio in slalom kayak and will be moving on to the semi finals next!  You can follow his progress here :

I wonder how a fiero would look with a kayak strapped to the roof?

That takes great arm and waist strength to maneuver the kayak.  Has he ever done the Ocoee River, site of the '96 Olympics kayak competition?  If not, you should get him to visit and take him up there.

Another local Olympic connection... There's a guy at my work named Robert Phelps. His cousin is Michael Phelps, the swimmer.
