I always thought it so stupid of my neighbor to drive her high school age son a distance of 150 feet from her driveway to the intersection where the bus stops, irregardless of weather conditions.

Side Note:  I have a new neighbor next door who comes home, turns around in the drive and pulls back to the mailbox to retrieve the mail, then backs up and pulls into the garage.  Last week, she forgot to get the mail and later backed out of the garage, pulled to the mailbox, then drove back into the garage.  Their house is 35 feet from the street.
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

People are lazy.  My office is in a large building.  When I have the energy, I run to cross the warehouse on the walkway, because I'm too lazy to walk.

Today was a lazy day.  No one wanted to work.  They walked around in a doze.

It's that time of year again.  Don't be late.

Since GrannyLinda didn't post this, I'll add that you should check/change the batteries on your carbon monoxide and smoke detectors.

Speaking of which, my detector talks.  How annoying!  Inanimate devices now talk to us!  Like the cars that try to convince you that your door is a jar, when you can clearly see that it's still a door.

I wish Trump would issue an executive order that our time goes back to the standard time, year round.  It's been so long since we started going to daylight savings time that I don't know which is the correct time, any more.

My vote would be for DST, year round.
I still don't care if it's light in the morning. Doesn't benefit me, either way. I'd like my sunlight in the evening, thank you.

I'd prefer the same standard across the US.
