I think Mike said he needed cables.  Maybe he's already got the cradle and engine installed?  It will probably need the brakes serviced because it sat for a while.  Definitely a good wash and detail as it was outside under Oak trees.

I thought he said he had cables, but nothing else, for now.

A clutch assembly doesn't have to be expensive.  The Luk clutch will hold that engine just fine.  I've been running them since the mid 90's.  It's what I have behind the 3.4.  Partstrain.com has the Luk for $75 or the RhinoPak for $115.

Tire Rack may be a good source for tires.  You can save about $60 because you have the mounting equipment.  I've been buying from them rather than locally.  Even with shipping and installation, they were cheaper than buying from the local tire stores.  Same brand and sizes.

I have a different style easy-out that's less prone to breaking.  I'll bring them along on Saturday.

Don used to buy LUK clutches. That's probably what's in it, now. Had a bunch of miles on it. In addition to the club outings, that car was his "daily".
He didn't beat on it, but he certainly didn't baby it, either.

The front brakes are Grand Am. Not sure about year, though.

I hope the engine is still out, to make the exhaust bolt job easier.

Grand Am brakes offer vented disks and maybe larger piston and pads.

What is the likelihood of having the aerodon car running for the cruise?

Supposedly in May.  Yeah, those unexpected expenses are a pain.

Edit: Don Hulse Cruise is not scheduled.  RFTH scouting run is in May.
