ANYONE KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE MOTOR IN THE GTP- 3400 DOHC 24 VALVES V-6? I'VE FOUND ONE AND WONDERED IF IT WAS ANY GOOD FOR A SWAP?   OLDONE IN C'VILLE

Some have done the swap -- search 3.4 DOHC on Pennock's.
Not necessarily the best bang for the buck, I've heard. The engine is heavy.
The more complex the mind, the greater the need for the simplicity of play.

Aren't the later 3400's actually lighter than the 2.8?

I know the 3400DOHC engines will scream in a Fiero and a lot of people are installing them. The only draw backs I know of are the plugs are a PITA to change and if the timing belts have to be changed it takes two days to do it after you get the engine out.
