Newspaper wants to do story on Fiero
« on: September 29, 2009, 05:55:10 pm »
A Dekalb county newspaper wants to do a story on some unusual cars, and wants to meet some Fiero owners on Thursday.  Anyone interested?

3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

Hey Charlie !

I'd do it, but I work 10:00 am to 8:30 pm on Thursday....any chance they might do it tomorrow (Wednesday) instead ?  That's my day off and I could do it any time then. Feel free to pass along my cell phone number to them, (770) 885-6036 . Thanks !

The reporter sent me an email this morning.  I've been busy all day and didn't check email until tonight.  I called his office and his Editor said he'd have him contact me tomorrow.  The email said he had a deadline and could only meet on Thursday.  I'd love to have someone with an engine transplant.  The Editor said they would desire to have someone who lived in DeKalb County, but I don't think we have anyone.

I may just go and talk with him and take the blue one.  Maybe pull a couple of engine transplant pics from the forums to show him.

I just spoke with the reporter and got an idea of the story line.  It's a photospread about unique cars, their owners, what prompted them to buy this particular car, etc.

The owner must live in DeKalb County.  Deadline for his story is Tomorrow, Thursday.  Help me out, I can't think of anyone who lives in DeKalb County.
