Drove round trip 480 miles today from my home to Jackson, MS to check out an '88 GT that just got on the yard this week. Most people would think I am crazy but since my wife was working today I decided to take a road trip. My 25 year old daughter decided to ride along. We got some good parts and then did a little sightseeing. I got home and then my daughter showed me this picture! Not the safest position I could be in. When my wife gets home I know she won't be happy about my "step stool." Hope I'm not grounded! But it was a great day Fiero diving with my little girl.

Yeah, I questioned it, when I saw the pic.  Never needed the height that badly.

Got what I was mainly looking for - taillights. They are in better shape than what I have. Since the rear deck lid was locked we had to break it enough so I could reach in and unbolt the striker. Had more difficulty getting the taillights out because of stripped screws but finally got them out. About an hour later while I was looking for the ratchet I dropped into the wet leaves on the drivers seat I noticed something shiny - the keys!

Yeah, looks like they used spatter paint. 

Tim, you just gotta break down and start dropping a hint every day that you'd like to have a set of Keith Goodyear's reproduction tail light lenses for Christmas.  If your daughter's willing to take a 480 mile ride to forage around in a junk yard, she just might surprise you.
