I am walking with my cane now and I just got somebody to weed eat my yard for me free of charge. It's my power company's meter reader. And I also bought a self propelled electric push mower, 1 lever pulls the mower and the other lever runs the blades,

Good for you.

Have you seen the mower the Vonage guy has?  It looks nicer than it is, but gave me some ideas.

If you haven't been to the Lincoln Museum in Illinois, I highly recommend the museum.  Not Illinois.  There is an OK movie, but an excellent hologram.

Supposed to go boating today, but it's rained out.  Get this.  It's from yesterday's rain.  Caution: boat may get wet while in use.

Hoping to run the Colorado rapids, later this year, but not looking good.

For anyone who has seen the Chipmunks movie.  At the end, Dave lets the Chipmunks steer.  Not that much in that movie is realistic, but it seems that a chipmunk's body weight would be insufficient to steer a Triumph.  This came up, because someone asked about letting a chipmunk steer my Fiero.  Yeah, NOT!

I received the following email:
Get algebra test results from Dr. S.
Take clothes to laundry
Make dinner reservations
See if roommate will be out of town
Pick up dress from dry-cleaner
Call mom for Thanksgiving

There were more items, but I gathered it was a college student.  I replied back that maybe I was the wrong person.  About the time I hit send, another email came through, with pictures.  Well, now she can't run for public office.

LOL!  Apparently, GrannyLinda is the person on here to give approval for that.  Without hearing from her, personally, I couldn't possibly...

I'm sure GrannyLinda would have no objection to giving Scott the pictures. He was like an adopted son to her, and she's want to make him happy. ;)

A few other guys and I provided the entertainment for an event today.  A little music always helps.

A few songs we did for which you know the melodies:
Fart in a Can - Alice in Chains - adapted
Shoes without Laces - Alan Jackson - adapted
Rye Whiskey - by me
Can't Find the Mole - Randy Travis - adapted
Sheep in the Fold - Pink Floyd - adapted
Time with Aristotle - Jim Croce - adapted
I'm Comin' Home - Ozzie - adapted
I'd Like to Teach the World to Sin - Bill Backer - adapted
Livin' Under the Stair - Bon Jovi - adapted
Friends in Other Places - Garth Brooks - adapted
I Walk the Line - Johnny Cash - adapted
No More Beer in Heaven - Eric Clapton - adapted
Folsum Prison Blues - Johnny Cash - adapted
Fade to Black - Metallica - adapted
Unfinished Beers - Garth Brooks - adapted
Boulevard of Broken Themes - Green Day - adapted
Hungover by Morning - George Strait - adapted
House of the Rising Nun - The Animals - adapted
Livin' on Loans - Alan jackson - adapted
Still of the Night - Whitesnake - adapted
Pop a Top - Alan Jackson - adapted
Happy Together - Turtles - adapted
A Few of my Favorite Things - Gimme Gimmes - adapted

They wanted us do these as an encore, so we tried, but my voice doesn't go that high:
Pretty Woken - van Halen - adapted
Pigs are Swine - Guns'N'Roses - adapted
Johnny Be Good - Chuck Berry
Scorpions Medley - Scorpions various - arranged by me
Run, Turkey, Run - Chuck Berry - adapted
Somewhere over the Stained Bow - Harold Arlen - adapted
Baby Likes to Rock It - The Tractors - adapted
You've Still Got the Flu - Scorpions - adapted
Appleberry Pie - Don McLean - adapted

Apparently, some people did not like the music selection.  Next time, they can pay someone.

This was a few days ago, in Wasco, Oregon.
