I think one was just pulled out of the car at Scotts.  I also have one if you only need the slider that the cable attaches to.

Don, you may be able to find a plastic and vinyl aerosol spray over there that would closely match what you need.

What I really need is the cable,,   But I sort of got it working so it should do for now.  If you think about a work around you usualy come up with something.  It would have probably been a problem to change it out anyhow.   Rube Goldburg strikes again

Changing the complete cable requires pulling the dash.  Not a difficult job, but time consuming.  Not sure how a cable can be damaged.  But I do have one if absolutely needed.

If it is a hassle or destroys the trim pieces when removing the speaker grills, I'll settle for just the gas pedal  ;D
Shipping the entire trim pieces will require a large box and freight costs would be rather high and not worth the trouble.

Don, I don't know the condition of the ones in the car that Scott stripped.  Even though the interior had been exposed to the elements, it was at the front of the cockpit.  The rear portion of the roof wasn't damaged and the grills may be serviceable, though they are gray.

At one time, Rodney sold cloth kits, to recover the speaker grills.

I have no rear speaker grills to recover.  ;D They are completely missing and the PO covered the holes with wire mesh.....BRILLIANT! NOT!Hence why I want the complete speaker grills. But having the entire trim sent to me doesn't make sense.Like I said, I'll settle for the gas pedal right now and perhaps I'll find somebody parting out a Fiero here in Deutschland.

We have a TON of the gray trip pieces with speaker grills. Since the brown ones are rare, it might be best to leave them intact. That's my feeling anyhow. Anybody want to chime in on this?

They probably can be bonded back on in some way, but I've read on PFF that it's difficult and removal usually damages them.

Agree.  Basically, you would have to cut up a set to remove the speaker grills, then shave them to fit what he has.  Best to either send the entire piece, if using the brown set.

Still does, but the cloth isn't the problem.  My question pertained to difficulty, if the grill csnnot be removed.

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that the grills can be removed without too much damage, if you're not in too much of a hurry. (They would probably have to be epoxied back on to Don's car.)
If that's an option, I would just choose the most beat up (or most common) set of gray pillar trim (provided the grills are okay) and then remove said grills.
Maybe the fabric could be purchased and included in the same package, for shipping to Europe. Would save Donster the cost of shipping a separate package.  (Neither the grills or the cloth should be very large - or heavy - with both packed into a shipping envelope or box.)
