Yes I am, today I'm going to mow 2 yards. They will be about 4 acres plus weed eating.

Good.  Working on Fieros, also?

Not mowing with the scythe, I hope.

I'm mowing a 3 acre yard today and weed eating it. And today is Gail's Birthday. Everybody is going to eat at Western Sizzlin steak house tonight in Athens TN around 6:00.

I own 2 John Deere riding lawn mowers, and a battery powered weed eater.

Should be good weather for it.  Here, it's 60 degrees.  3 acres is small, so should only take an hour to do.  Steak sounds great.

Not much use in only 3 acres.

Robbie, I know you're talented, but you remind me of a certain line in Sweet Home Alabama.  You can only ride one mower at a time.

There's been no activity today, so I thought I'd make sure there was at least one post.

Goodnight.

It feels so strange, seeing no posts.  I'd checked several times, and saw others online, off and on.

I looked back through the posts.  There hasn't been a day without a single post since 6/16/17, or thereabouts.  I looked through 2016, and there was at least 1 day each month with 0 posts.

At an event tonight, 2 police officers were discussing some yeggs and how to handle them.  Without missing a beat, my son suggested that the yeggs be cracked, broken open, separated, and fried.  Thankfully, he stopped there.  Anyway, the police officers got really quiet, then asked if my son knew what a yegg was.  My son said, "Eggs with yolks".  One of the officers laughed, and told my son that maybe he was right.

It was our turn to get a bit of snow.

Since my ATVs are all carbureted, I usually start them at least every other week to clean out the carbureter.  This was the second week, so I started them, and took one for a ride in the snow.  In fact, we used it to deliver cards and things around the neighborhood.  The kids wore helmets and we stayed on the sidewalk where possible.  The kids did the actual deliveries.

I was watching news this morning and saw you were going to get some snow or ice.  Is that just today's snowfall?

Yes. It started around 1am, here.  A few of my remote sites lost power, but the UPSs kicked in.  It's supposed to snow again tonight.

I've been enjoying some holiday favorites.  Hot chocolate with marshmallows, Holiday Nog, frozen Snickers, and hot apple cider.

Sometimes, good ideas mix together to become great.  Whomever thought up meatloaf was a genius.  Cookie dough is great, too.  Ice cream floats (not while it's 10 degrees outside, perhaps) can be good.  I tried mixing half a cup of Nesquik with a glass of holiday nog.  Not one of my better ideas.

I grew up with Christmas breads, like stolen, pula, pumpkin, and cinnamon, and Christmas cookies such as springerle, pfeffernusse, butterballs, and some others.
