I like that.  You might have added "This is the only car I have.  The one you couldn't drive here tells more about it than the one you did drive."
There are three kinds of men:

1.    The ones that learn by reading.
2.    The few who learn by observation.
3.    The rest of them have to pee on the electric fence and find out for themselves.    Will Rogers

That wouldn't be true, though.  I have 2 trucks that I drive.  The likelihood of him seeing me in one of them is high.  It'd eventually get around that I'd told a lie.

The Mercedes owner still had to walk past several other customers who had heard what was said, into the store, do his stuff, and leave.  They say, "Make your words soft and sweet; you may have to eat them later."

Yes.  An old man called me over to tell me that he used to have an '84, but he suspected mine was a V6.  'Spect he's right.

A tow truck saw my Fiero today. Coming home from the meeting, my temp warning light came on, and the gauge was near the top. So I pulled over as soon as I could and called AAA.
As soon as i got home, I found the problem. The short hose from the engine area to the driver side coolant tube was cut. It seems someone has replaced it before, and used the wrong hose, which was too long, and was buckled towards a metal edge, which eventually cut it.
Tomorrow should be a good enough day to replace it.

The only hose we've been able to find to replace that one is a rhino flex hose and it is a little too long, but the sizes of the ends is correct.  My 86 and Aerodon both have them and they are buckled downward, not toward any other objects.

Hmmm.  Mine supposedly has a new hose.  It does not appear to be buckled on top.  Maybe I should chdck the other end.

Why not trim the hose?

If I have to, I'll use some of that corrugated do-it-yourself hose I got for the 3800 car.

If you are after the standard hose, it is listed on Fiero sails list of hoses.  I know you have a big boys enjun so possibly standard won't help?

I found by many cross-references and the desire to avoid massive import costs that a few of the hoses are also fitted to alfa Romeo spiders.

We had just left the first family and were on our way to lunch before going to the second family.
